I like writing Text Adventures. I've used everything from the old Shareware Adventure Game Toolkit (AGT) on DOS, the Graphical Adventure Creator (GAC) on the speccy, and things like Quest / Squiffy online. Currently I'm experimenting with Adventuron, a very cool Text Adventure creation system that's very powerful. Chris Ainsley, the creator of Adventuron has been very helpful with solving issues, and putting features into Adventuron in the last few years, making it a superb system to experiment with.
