What, really, is Art? I've read so many articles from experts saying what it is, and yet there always seems to be one example which sits outside the definition, a little like Godel's theorem around maths. Art is un-boundable, and the moment you try to put your arbitrary ring around it and say "THIS IS ART", someone will come along and show you something outside that ring that is objectively and subjectively "art".
I like taking "artistic" photos, but I'm never entirely sure what will actually look like Art, and what will just look like a bland image. Sometimes, the difference between the two is a crinkle of a eye, or the turn of a head. It might be the way the lens was set. It's not easily defined, and so, I'm always striving to find that "good" arty shot whenever I have the camera out.
