Nature

I originally bought my first nice camera, a Sony Cybershot S50 to take pictures of the wildlife and nature while on holiday. I bought it in Bristol airport, and spent a whole flight playing with it, taking photos out of the window. The photos looked amazing on the screen, but when I got home and loaded them on the PC, I was disappointed by how flat and washed-out they seemed. It was my first education in the difference between consumer-level instant cameras and the expensive SLRs. To capture a REALLY good nature image, in my humble opinion, it's best to just step right over the entry-level stuff and go for the pro-sumer or enthusiast grade.
